Things you should know
-
- This part is made with OEM equivalent materials, design and manufacturing methods
- Made in the USA
- The fin count is 25FPI as with the OEM
- Our headers are made with extruded billet brass
- this is better brass material than from other parts of the world where only one substandard brass is allowed for export.
- or they use machined cast headers which have a lower density likely leading to a shorter product life
- We have decades of know how that have gone into this product.
- This part is made with OEM equivalent materials, design and manufacturing methods
Some details to note:
-
There’s a slight configuration change. There’s a slight little button (center) on top that we've left on the header.
- It helps us in manufacturing
- we guarantee it won’t get in the way.
-
It allows us to make this part so it is very round, very cylindrical and within a few thousandths of an inch (~0.002") of our dimensional target. It's a great fit to the housing.
- This eases installation and later, when servicing, the cylindricity of the part can ease the removal of the unit.

-
A tube of lubricant and a brush for application.
- Using lubricant makes it easier to install the part and then remove it when doing your regular maintenance.
-
Two sets of 0-rings (in different diameters).
- Smaller which matches the OEM offering plus a larger cross section which may compensate for a worn housing as your system ages.
-
Pre-installed core stabilizers
- Although this is disregarded by some youtube installers these stabilizers are quite important. They perform 2 functions:
- 1. Reducing vibration at the tube header connection which has the potential of extending the cooler life and keep the area below the header from becoming embrittled.
- 2. Reducing air bypass at the cooler extents.
-
A tube of lubricant and a brush for application.
